Bookmark Cat

Another week is almost over and I have a finish.  This time a bookmark, with a cat holding a heart shaped balloon.  Yet another gorgeous design by Margaret Sherry.

Birthday Card for Joyce

It was also my friends birthday this week and here is a picture of the card I sent her.

I thought I would share with you some of the places I have visited in July.

Nottingham, famous for Robin Hood.

Nottingham Town Hall, The Castle Gate House, Statue of Robin Hood and the Castle Gardens.

Gainsborough Old Hall in Lincolnshire

Gainsborough Old Hall is among the biggest and best-preserved medieval manor houses in England.
It is part timber-framed but mostly brick-built. It was built in the latter part of the 15th century
 with Elizabethan additions.

Chesterfield

Chesterfield in Derbyshire, is famous for it's crooked spire.

Happy Stitching Everyone

Gorgeous bookmark! I have that as a kit and must get round to making it soon! It's so cute. Lovely photos- my Granny came from Nottingham, I love the castle. The Chesterfield spire is brilliant! :) And wow what a lovely birthday card! Laura x

I really like the specialty stitches on your header. Those are sooooo cool!

I also got the M Sherry bookazine. All the designs in one book is really nifty. My rationalization since I have almost all the mags that the designs were in.

Getting the 12 days of Christmas was hard. I remember that one, because then a few years later they came out with a small book of her designs. Then 5 or so years later, the bookazine....

I enjoyed my stay at your blog, lots of eye candy.

Happy stitching.

I'd love to get the pattern with the cat holding the heart balloon. I've looked everywhere and I can't find it online,
