Show and Tell!

Hi Everyone

Last month I was busy stitching but could not show you, but I can now.  I managed to finish the lettering during the last IHSW week end.

Noah's Ark - from a Donna Kooling book.

For the Noah's Ark design, I used my own colours, as I have so many left over threads that I could use.  The original colours are more pastel shades.  As the card was for a boy I changed the pink elephants for mauve and purple.

I found these two little design from Creative work Shops from Hetti.  It can be found here:-
I used my own colours from my stash.  I think I might make it into a needle case.

This little blackwork design is in Cross Stitch Crazy Issue 212.  A Lesley Teare design.

This little Celtic Knot design is not yet finished, so is a Work in Progress or WIP.

A little Cross design for Easter.

A Margaret Sherry Design.  Another Work in Progress - but nearly there.

I hope everyone enjoyed a joyful Easter.  I received a beautiful cross stitched card from my friend Mary Grace in Malta.

The design can be found on a Polish blog called Hafted Malowane, and can be found here:-

I sent Mary Grace one of my own little Celtic Cross designs.

As usual I would like to share some freebies that I have discovered on the web.

Teddy birthday card in cross stitch

The free April chart by Lesley Teare is of a little teddy bear.  This would make a great Birthday Card.  Can be found here:-

Here is this months free download graph from Permin.  Can be found here:-

This is one of many free designs by Kathy Bungard at Gracewood Stitches, and can be found here:-

Nancy at the Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe is having a "New Line of floss give-away, enter now!!!"  Drawing to be 15 April, so there is still time to enter.

Well!  I hope I have remembered to share with you all that things that I have stitched and all the things that I wanted to share with you.

Until next time.

Take Care and Happy Stitching Everyone
