A Finish and I've Won!

I've a new finish to show you.  It's Margaret Sherry's free Spring Card Kit from "Cross Stitch Crazy",
issue 163.

I should have stitched the grass in 1 stand of thread, but I did not like how it looked, so stitched it in 2 stands instead.

Yes, I could not believe that I had won!
I won the  "Zoo Babies Birth Record" Giveaway from the Kooler Design Studio.

I've stitched other things from the Kooler Design Studio in the past, they have such lovely design.
I also have quite a few of there book's and chart in my collection.

Here's one I stitched some years ago,

I've managed to get some lovely close ups of a robin which I thought you would like to see.

Fortunately, I had my camera with me to get these pictures.

Let's Bee Friends

Well, I'm so glad to say that I have finally finished stitching "Let's Bee Friends" by Margaret Sherry.  At least he has been one of the easier ones, when it came to back stitching.  I stitched him for the March SAL on the Yahoo Margaret Sherry Cross Stitch Group (MSCSG).  I first started him in June 2010 as he was a free cover kit in Cross Stitcher Magazine 226.  Thanks to the group SAL, he is now finished and not a UFO anymore.

SPRING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER

The robins are singing and the Great Tits are in our nesting box.  I'm amazed that we still have Long Tailed Tits in our garden, they have never stayed so long with us before.  Also the daffodils and primroses are starting to come out.

You can never be too early to Stitch for Christmas!!

I like to start early for Christmas, so I thought I would share with you some of the Margaret Sherry Christmas designs that I have stitched.  I finished stitching the Christmas Mouse with a stocking only yesterday.  I changed the stars on the stocking to gold thread, to give it a bit of a sparkle.
