I've just had a wonderful stitching weekend. It was great to get back to stitching again.
But first I want to share some of the things I have stitched already. First, here is the Valentine Card I stitched for my husband. A Four Heart Clover Celtic Knot, which can be found here (just scroll down to find the free chart at the end). I stitched the outline of the knot with two threads and one thread for the filling, to make the knot work stand out. I also used a two fold card, as I could not find a three fold card in my collection with a larger enough cut out centre. So I used ribbon with double sided tape to help hold down the fabric. I'm quite pleased with the outcome and my husband liked it also.

I've been wanting to do some Celtic Knot stitching and found this book. And just had to stitch these two items. I used threads I already had in my stash, some old Anchor/Clark threads and not the ones in the book. I'm quite pleased with the outcome. I just need to make them into something. The small cross I thought I would make into a scissor fob. I have planned to make the larger Celtic Knot into a needle case and scissor holder. When I finally finish them, I will post a photo.

Here is results of the International Hermit and Stitching Weekend.
I've finally finished the 16 squares for the 'Delft Blue Tiles', which can be found here. I have also started the first square.

I found this lovely freebie chart from 'Borduurblad', which has a great selection of freebies and can be found here. Scroll down to patroon 36 to find this chart. I fell in love with these two Dutch children as they are about to kiss. I have the border patterns, the outlining of there faces and tulips left to finish. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished.

I was hoping to post this on Monday, but I had quite a lot of problems with the internet connection. But at least I have managed it today.
